Antique Shop Finds

I recently traveled to Utah to visit my bestest friend, Carissa, and discovered these gorgeous little finds in some local antique shops in Richfield and Murray, UT. Take a peak!

Vintage 1976 "Merry Mushrooms" hanging planter.
The polka dotted orange mushroom is sooo cute.
Vintage buttons. SWOON! I can't wait to incorporate them into my handmade purses!
Orange and Brown vintage circa 1960's fabric.
"Mr. and Mrs." vintage orange pillowcases. Such a rare color for pillowcases. I really feel like I won the lottery!
Beautiful hand work.
A sweet little handkerchief in orange, blue, yellow, and brown.
A new addition to my perfume decanters. pretty.
A vintage silver pill box circa 1910. "Gaba" on bottom.

Quite the rare diamond pattern. A steal for $5.00. Some other antique web sites said at least $40.00+. I love good deals!

Thrift Store Score

Super scores at my local thrift shop!
 Bright 60's and 70's scarves!
Authentic Vera Neumann Scarf! And only paid $1.00
An AWESOME vintage Mod hanging file folder holder. In great shape and only $3.00. Poking around on the web and found some for approx. $40.00. SCORE!
The cutest vintage cups with blue and white polka dots and the sweetest printed lace trim. LOVE!

Pintrest

There's a new website to check out called Pintrest. It's an exploration of visual collections. Pintrest is a fun way to discover new things and to get inspired by people who share your interests. I can organize things I find across the web and "pin" them to my customized virtual pinboard. So far, I'm having a blast and I truly am inspired by what I have found so far. My categories include: yummy food inspiration, natural beauty products, the latest and greatest beauty products I've been swooning over, vintage fashion eye candy, new decorating ideas for my home, and fun sewing projects that look absolutely dreamy. What do you think of Pintrest? Care to share your latest finds? Don't forget to add me! username: tflahart
